Meet the Team

Meet the Scallywags training and behaviour team . . .

Claire White-French

Claire is the proprietor of Scallywags School for Dogs since 2013. She originally came as a client with her 8 week GSD puppy Maddison in May 1993 and was hooked. Claire then found herself shadowing instructors and then taking puppy classes. Apart from a 2 year break, when she moved to Yorkshire to run her own boarding kennels and cattery, Claire has been with Scallywags ever since. Upon returning she shadowed Sally for behaviour consults and one to one lessons so that Sally could fulfil her dream of retiring.

Claire is a professional full time training and behaviour consultant and conducts the training and behaviour consults, 121 training, agility classes, tracking sessions, and manages the fabulous team she is so proud of.. She loves her “job”, and is passionate about helping people understand their dogs and to mutually have a better relationship. Claire continues to widen her knowledge with monthly sessions with the top people within the industry. You are never too old to learn and she feels that people within the industry have a duty to offer the very latest science based training available.

Claire has her 10 year old GSD Ghost who she adopted from Southern Counties German Shepherd rescue when he was 3. He is her 4th Shepherd and loves the breed for their intelligence and independence .
