Our Opening Times

Dog Agility

Agility is a fun, popular dog sport. Most weekends Agility shows are held up and down the country and top competitions are held at Crufts, Olympia and The Royal Show. Agility is terrific fun for dogs, handlers and spectators alike. It involves the dog being guided around a course of between 16 and 20 obstacles by the handler in as fast a time as possible without incurring faults.

Scallywags offer 1:1 agility lessons and group classes at our outdoor venue in Corhampton for all levels and breeds. All classes require booking so please contact us to confirm your place.

Beginners Agility 1:1

If you want to have fun with your dog and learn a new sport together, why not give agility a go? We currently offer beginners agility via with 1:1 lessons with one of our instructors. We cover all of the basic foundation exercises and techniques to develop you and your dog’s speed and accuracy. We will work on a perfect start line wait, teach directions, learn how to use your body language to guide your dog around the obstacles and we will also have lots of fun!

Agility should not be undertaken by dogs under 12 months of age due to their bone development but the foundation exercises are suitable for younger dogs and we will take them from 7 – 8 months providing there is a good solid bond with the owner.
